Folding Diagrams for Jasper's Star
p. 1 of 7 (Steps 1-4)

Finished Shuriken Jasper's Star is a one-piece shuriken. This high-intermediate model takes 20-40 minutes to make. Two versions of the instructions are available:

  1. This web version has 7 pages: Steps 1-4, 5-10, 11-16, 17-22, 23-28, 29-34, and 35-40.
  2. The postscript pages are more printable: Steps 1-4, 5-10, 11-16, 17-22, 23-28, 29-34, and 35-40.

The instructions should be easy to follow. If they give you any difficulty, please let me know.


Diagrams for steps 1-4.
  1. Start with a square, white side up. Pleat and unfold.
  2. Valley fold the bottom edge to the 3/4 line, and unfold.
  3. Mountain fold the top edge to the 3/8 line, and unfold. Rotate the paper 180 degrees.
  4. Repeat steps 2-3. Rotate the paper 90 degrees.
